Die types
Pick your type before you throw — the shape, the range and the odds all follow your selection.
d4
Four-sided tetrahedron. The fastest way to settle a tiny decision.
d6
The classic cube, rendered as a real 3D die with proper pip faces.
d8
Eight-sided octahedron for when a coin flip feels too binary.
d10
Ten-sided die — handy for percentages and 00–90 rolls.
d12
Twelve-sided dodecahedron for wider ranges and table stakes.
d20
Twenty-sided icon. Roll with confidence, roll a natural 20.
Why use it
Pick how many you throw and the tool keeps a running total across all of them.
d4 through d20. The RNG respects the number of sides you choose, so a d20 never rolls a 21.
Every face is drawn from crypto.getRandomValues() with rejection sampling, so each side has equal probability.
Roll count, average total, highest throw and total dice — plus the last fourteen totals.
FAQ
What to look for in an online dice roller, how the randomness works, and how many dice you can throw at once.
A good online dice roller lets you choose how many dice to throw and which type — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 or d20 — shows the result clearly, adds up the totals, keeps session statistics and is honest about where the randomness comes from. It should also work on a phone and accept keyboard input.
Ours does all of that with a real 3D throw and no signup. Open the dice roller →
The dice stage on our dice page fills the width of the screen and works in landscape on a phone, which is enough for most tables. For a true full screen view, press F11 on Windows, Ctrl + Command + F on a Mac, or use your browser’s full screen option — the roller keeps working exactly the same. Try it →
